Being a member of the MyPlus Recruiters’ Club has enabled Maven to implement a firm wide adjustments process so that they can support all students to demonstrate their potential in the Maven recruitment process. Maven have achieved this through using their consulting days benefit, attending webinars and seeking advice and guidance from MyPlus.

Disability is really important at KPMG as part of their commitment to building an inclusive environment and workforce. Disabled graduates are recruited for their diverse mindset to help tackle their clients biggest problems.

KPMG work with MyPlus Recruiters’ Club because of their deep understanding of not only the challenges but also the opportunities in recruiting disabled graduates. They have used membership benefits to post opportunities on the MyPlus Students’ Club job board, hosted MyPlus Career Insight Event ‘Future You’ for 2 years running and trained their internal student recruitment team building their confidence to ensure they are delivering the best support for disabled applicants.

As a Government Disability Confident Leader with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion instilled in their values, Enterprise Mobility’s relationship with MyPlus has been key in helping them progress and ensure disability inclusion within their workforce.

Having been members of the MyPlus Recruiters’ Club for over 11 years Enterprise Mobility have been using their annual consulting benefit to provide ongoing bespoke disability employment training from MyPlus to help boost the confidence of their hiring teams, area managers and their leadership team.

Disability is fundamental to KPMG’s work on Inclusion, Diversity and Equality and getting the best people to work for them. The relationship with MyPlus is a trusted and long-term partnership, which supports KPMG’s strategy for disability inclusion as business as usual.

One of the reasons KPMG has worked with MyPlus for over 6 years is the ability for MyPlus to deliver training specifically tailored to KPMG’s needs. KPMG have used their annual consulting benefit from their MyPlus Recruiters’ Club membership to deliver training for their student recruitment team with the aim of building their confidence to enable them to engage with disabled students and provide the support they require as they progress through the recruitment process and into workplace.

Bespoke Disability Employment Expertise

MyPlus and Allen & Overy: Support for in-house Career Insight event for disabled students

 

Allen & Overy run a series of 5 Autumn Inclusivity events for students aimed at developing their confidence to apply to their opportunities. For the disability session Allen & Overy, who have been members of the MyPlus Recruiters’ Club for over 12 years, used their consulting benefit to engage the expertise of MyPlus to run a session on disclosing a disability and requesting support and adjustments.

As a result of the disability focused Inclusivity Insight event Allen & Overy saw an increase in the number of students disclosing a disability and / or long-term health illness, and an increase in students requesting adjustments.
